Do you realize that in ten years the followers of Jesus, like you and I, will celebrate 2000 years since Jesus’ resurrection and Christianity will enter the third millennium? What does this mean for us? If you follow the news, you may have noticed the statistics and numbers that indicate that church attendence is declining, and the persecution of Christians is increasing across the globe. And though many of these reports are true, there is so much more happening across the world that the news media has no desire or knowledge to report on. This is why the Great Commission is not just the means of spreading the Good News among the nations but is a way to keep the body of Christ informed and encouraged that His Kingdom is advancing, His bride (the church) is being purified and prepared, and the Great Victory is coming! You recognize these signs when you find yourself in the center of His will on an assignment, whether half across the world or in your own neighborhood. You witness the Word of God penetrate the heart of a hardened sinner, or a new hope in the heart of a broken and destitute person, you watch old and young, the powerful and the week surrender their lives to Christ, and suddenly it becomes clear – regardless of who occupies the seats of power across the world, it is the Lord who is on the throne, and as His subject you are empowered and equipped to overcome and be “more than conqueror” no matter what the future holds.
In this newsletter, you will read of the wonderful news from Western Europe to the “ends of the earth” that you, as the cherished partner of the WMA family, are a part of. Each prayer for our missions, each dollar that you have donated helps to bring another soul to Christ, another Bible distributed, another meal served to the hungry. This is how we resist the evil, how we win the battle, by being who Christ called us to be! Helen and I lift you in our prayers daily. We are thankful that the Lord connected you with WMA. The focus of our work was sharing the Gospel through street evangelism. Our team members distributed Gospel tracts, presented the Gospel through “salvation bracelets” and invited people to the Cork Church, which was nearby. The first person to receive Christ was a clerk at an ice cream shop. Our team members presented him with a Bible which he received with gratitude and excitement. When we went to a store to replenish our supply of Bibles, to our great surprise, there were none. It may seem counterproductive to share Christ in a historically “Christian” country, but the truth is, Western Europe needs missionaries today more than ever. Helping the homeless and the people with addictions through Feed Cork ministry revealed that “first world” countries are unable to solve the problems of those who struggle any better than the underdeveloped nations. Only through Christ we can bring healing, hope, and restoration to broken lives.
The next WMA mission to Ireland is scheduled for 2025, and it is already filling up!
Mexico will have presidential elections in 2024. But most of the people do not have much hope that a new candidate will bring a desired change to their country. As our team shared the Gospel in the streets, through medical clinics and the summer camp for underprivileged kids, we witnessed great hunger for the truth and hope. Over 150 people came to WMA clinics. At a local hospital, we prayed for parents of kids with terminal cancer. Eight people received Jesus as their Savior through this outreach Our team played games with the kids and prayed for them as well. The summer camp for the underprivileged kids held at the Howard Institute was a great success. There were dozens of salvations, and even a healing. The kids and their parents her the Gospel message and were ministered to. The team also ministered to the garbage collectors and distributed Bibles and groceries to them. Mexico is the ‘field that is ripe with harvest”! If this nation is on your heart, our next mission there is December 4-11, and we would love to have you join!
Leaving behind the triple digit August temperatures across, the US WMA team landed amidst the snowstorm in Ushuaia, Argentina. We ministered in 2 churches in the Patagonia region, both of which had undergone recent traumatic events and needed encouragement. Despite of cold and snow, every night the churches were packed with crowds of people wanting to hear the Word draw closer to God. Our team set up a medical clinic in the church and asked the members of the congregation to bring the unsaved friends and family members. The pastor was worried that very few would come since people in Patagonia region don’t trust doctors. To his great surprise, the clinic was full, and most of them did not know the Lord. They received excellent care from our medical team, medicine, and vitamins, but more importantly they received prayer, Gospel tracts and some prayed the prayer of salvation. It was incredible to see that even the big snowstorm did not prevent people from coming. After a few days we flew to Buenos Aires to carry out evangelistic outreaches in rougher suburbs around the capital. Argentina, plagued by economic crisis and government corruption, is in desperate need of hope and Christ’s love. We will return to Argentina in December of 2025, and possibly in December of 2024. If your heart is stirred for Argentina, please let us know ASAP, as this team fills up fast.

You have an opportunity to bless Israel. There are two ways you can help WMA team in Israel this October:
1. Pray for peace and God’s protection over Israel and the success of the WMA team.
2. Bless the elderly Russian Jews who live in difficult circumstances in Northern Israel by sponsoring a food and gift bag.
Our team’s visit brings much joy and relief of loneliness to them. It also brings relief to their physical needs. Whether you can sponsor 1 bag or ten or more, you will be a part of blessing Israel.
On our next trip to Israel is in February 10-20, 2024, and there has never been a more important time to
pray for this nation. As Israel faces internal political turmoil, praying for the land and encouraging local
believers will be an important part of this trip. You will spend most of the time in Galilee, where Jesus
performed most of His ministry. The team will visit local kibbutzim and interact with the community in
building relationships as well as the Russian Jewish immigrants, many of whom are survivors of the
Holocaust. On Friday we will take part in the Shabbat service at the local church and have a time of
fellowship and a shabbat meal with the congregation. The prayer ministry will take place on Golan
Heights and other strategic border areas, where we will also have opportunities to pray for the Israeli
soldiers.
Some of the areas that you will visit during the prayer walks in Galilee are Capernaum, Tabgha
(place of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fishes), Mount of Beatitudes and others. You
will also have a time of worship and communion on the boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. The weather in
February is usually sunny with temperature highs in the 50s and 60s. However, sometimes the
temperatures are higher, and if the weather permits, we will still perform the baptism ceremony in
Jordan river.
The final 2 days in Israel will be spent doing a prayer walk around Jerusalem, led by an experienced
Christian tour guide. There will be a significant amount of walking done by the team on these two days.
Please consider your health and physical condition, as we do not want you to miss out on the incredible
spiritual heritage of Jerusalem. Among other sites, you will visit the Mount of Olives and the Garden of
Gethsemane, Mount Zion and the Room of the Last Supper, the house of the high priest, Caiaphas, the
Pool of Bethesda, the Jewish Quarter, and the Western Wall on day one. On day two, we will visit
Temple Mount, the South Temple stage, the city of David, Siloam source and the Garden Tomb.
