Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.  As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.  They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

Psalms 84:5-7 NIV

Greetings,

Have you ever felt depleted of strength, exhausted or discouraged? We all do from time to time. In a moment like this when we have no other resources to draw from God’s strength can shine through us the most. His strength leads us through the valleys and mountain tops and also equips us to turn deserts into the places of springs. We are blessed if we accept the calling of pilgrims – to go where he calls us to go, to water deserts, make valleys bloom and let His strength shine through us.

Every mission trip we make is a part of this pilgrimage. The stories of our weakness, and struggle have the power to win people to Christ, to make disciples, to build the Kingdom of God! I have seen this happen in Ethiopia this month and can’t wait to share with you what the Lord has accomplished through our team. Is your heart set on pilgrimage?  In the upcoming months you have opportunities to plant, water and reap the harvest – from helping Ukrainian refugees in Moldova, to sponsoring underprivileged children in Albania to taking the Gospel to Egypt! Read more below!

Helen and I pray God’s favor and blessings on you. We are grateful you are a part of our big, loving, muti-national WMA family!

In Christ,

Chuck & Helen Todd

As always, the Lord’s plan exceeded our expectations. He handpicked every member of the team to fit perfectly into the assignments he had prepared for us! Not only did our team share the Gospel with the Ethiopian people who are mostly nominal, not “born again” Christians but we also had the opportunity to bring salvation to the Muslims and the Ethiopian Jews. Two of the biggest highlights were a Muslim lady who accepted Jesus after hearing the testimony of one of our team members who used to be a Muslim. This happened as our team was sharing the Gospel at the Messianic Jewish Synagogue. Only God could arrange for a Muslim woman to be there at this specific time!

Another highlight was a man who came to our free clinic asking for prayer every single day. He believed in the healing power of Jesus, and he knew that God could heal him. He limped and leaned on a cane, his left arm was paralyzed, and he had a noticeable lump on his skull. On the last day of clinic, after being prayed for four days in a row, he was able to walk without a cane, wrapped his BOTH ARMS around a team member in a beautiful embrace, and the lump on his head was gone. Ethiopia is in great need of revival and spiritual transformation. Thank you again for being a part of a miracle through your partnership with WMA!  Through your partnership WMA team planted beautiful seeds into very fertile soil!

Since February 24, 2022, more than 471,000 Ukrainian refugees have crossed into Moldova, a neighboring country. 87,000 of them have stayed. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe. At the end of July our team will fly to Moldova to partner with the local churches to care for their spiritual and physical needs, provide food, medical care and spiritual encouragement.

We will also travel to Transnistria to minister to children who live in tragic poverty and share the Gospel and the immediate help as well as launch the child sponsorship program in Moldova.

We invite you to partner with us in this important outreach. Your donation will help us purchase food, clothing, medications and Bibles for these important outreaches. Whether you travel with us or not, you can be an important part of this mission.

Yes, I want to help the Ukrainian refugees in Moldova!

Usually Egypt evokes the images of the pyramids and other relics of ancient history, for a person whose heart is passionate about the Great Commission  Egypt brings to mind the powerful prophecy of Isaiah 19 that promises that Egypt will be a blessing and will belong to God.

The current situation in Egypt from the political and the economic perspective does not seem to confirm that the fulfillment of this prophecy is near, yet in the spiritual realm there is a great change happening in this nation.

Egypt today, like never before, is in need of the light of Christ!

Egyptian Christians need our encouragement – they have suffered tremendously in the recent years from the revolutions and political takeovers. The churches were burned and people lost lives because of their faith in Christ. Yet, many Christians declare their faith boldly before the world by obtaining a tattoo of the cross on their wrist as the public declaration of their loyalty to Christ even in the face of persecution.

You have an incredible opportunity to share Jesus with the Egyptian people by sharing your testimony or teaching in evangelistic services that will be held at the local churches; inspire and encourage young people to follow Christ as they choose their path in life – a lot of young people in Egypt are attracted to secular lifestyle, yet struggle to find hope and meaning in life. If you have a heart for broken and hurting people, the outreach to women is a very important and needed ministry in Islamic countries.

Medical professionals and non-medical volunteers in the free clinic held at the local churches will have an opportunity to minister to the bodies and souls of those who can’t afford medical care.

Finally, you will have an opportunity to bring joy to the orphaned kids through games, stories and gifts – there is hardly a more significant impact that can be made in these young hearts.

The team will be interceding for the restoration of Egypt from the spiritual oppression, strife and wars and for its spiritual destiny as the children of the true God. We need prayer warriors and intercessors on the team who will devote themselves to this extremely important part of the mission.

You will spend our last day touring Cairo’s Museum of Ancient History, the Pyramids of Giza, Mount Mokkatam, the banks of the Nile river as well as have some time for souvenir shopping.

We still have spots open on this mission team but it is filling up quickly. We look forward to partnering with you in this prophetic mission!

World Missions Alliance in partnership with several churches in Albania is launching a child sponsorship project that will focus on the kids from the marginalized and impoverished communities to give them a chance for a brighter future. In this program a $40/month sponsorship will provide a child with a social worker who will evaluate the needs and prospects, a tutor who will provide quality Christian-based afterschool education or teach an older child a skill that will help them find employment after graduating as well as nutritional and medical assistance. It will also give this child a loving and nurturing relationship with a Christian sponsor. For most of the children among the Albanian minorities quality education and life skills are unattainable luxuries their families can’t or are unwilling to provide.

We were told that Islamic organizations are paying women in Albania $100 to wear a hijab and entice young people with money to attend mosques.

For $40 a month you can offer a child a life changing opportunity of a brighter future with Jesus.

Please check out https://rfwma.org/sponsor-a-child/ to see the faces and read the stories of the kids who are waiting for someone to believe in them and become their champion!
