June 24 – July 4, 2024 we will travel to Thessaloniki, Greece to partner with the local churches in evangelistic outreaches, children’s camp, medical missions and outreaches among the impoverished Roma communities and the refugees.
When Apostle Paul evangelized Europe, travelling westward on the Via Egnatia he preached at Thessalonica, the largest city on this great highway. This became the center from which Christianity radiated to Athens and Corinth, also to the province of Illyricum. Paul’s missionary journeys followed Roman highways, and along them extended the chain of early churches.
The ministry will take place near historic Christian sites and we will allow a day or two for sightseeing in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul who has done ministry in Thessaloniki and nearby Philippi bringing to life his epistles to the Tehssalonians and the Philippians. We will also visit the tomb of Alexander the Great’s father and many other sites.
On this mission you will share the Gospel with the children from the Greek and Roma communities during a 3 day children’s camp where WMA team will engage them in games, sports, arts and crafts to use these activities to share the Gospel message. The rest of the trip you will provide medical care, participate in a feeding programs and do one on one evangelism among the Roma communities and the settlements of refugees from the Middle East.

I have traveled with WMA since September 2011. They are very organized, but are open to the move of the Holy Spirit. It is apparent that the mission of WMA is the "Great Commission". I am so thankful that I was led to WMA when I felt a call to go into overseas missions. I am a retired law enforcement officer and as a result I am naturally suspicious of organizations I am not familiar with. My research online resulted in only positive reviews. I praise God for this wonderful ministry!

I could say that they were well organized, provided excellent accommodations, fed us well, and looked after our safety. And all that would be true, but their heart for serving the Lord and lifting the name of Jesus is what impressed me the most. My time and money are in short supply, but neither were wasted during the mission trip to Macedonia. The day I came home from Ireland was the day the Lord told me I was going to Lebanon! So far it has been my favorite trip. He told me it was an act of obedience and if I went He would take care of my daughter. Great blessings were given during this trip and a greater blessing when I got home! It was very overwhelming to know that God used us to answer many prayers for families both in Lebanon and at home.
