Ireland
2020 Trip Dates: To Be Announced
About the Trip:
The Emerald Isle is ready for revival, and the Lord has an incredible open door there for you. In the last seven years WMA teams have witnessed a great move of God in Ireland – from a closed Catholic country to a land where people are open to learn about personal relationship with Jesus and are looking for real hope and answers in their troubled lives.
We have seen great fruit from street witnessing, church services, and Bible distribution to serving the homeless in the city of Cork. The truth is—the Irish people know of Him, but they don’t KNOW Him. After suffering the economic crisis and the erosion of the Catholic identity, Ireland is READY FOR REVIVAL.
When great revivals happened in Wales, England, and Ireland over a hundred years ago, there was an absence of “big” names connected with the revival. Lay people hungry for God and eager to pray were used as God’s instruments to bring the spiritual awakening. Our ministry will take place in Cork, the second largest city in Ireland.
Without the language barrier, the most effective form of evangelism is one-on-one relationship building. In the partnership with Cork Church, in the city of Cork, you can share the Gospel not only with the Irish people but many foreigners who come to visit, study or work.
Outreach to children and the youth will be a big part of the ministry. Drama, music, arts and crafts, puppet ministry, and other fun activities will be used to share Christ, along with preaching and distribution of Gospel tracts.
Another important part of the ministry will be the outreach to the homeless through “Feed Cork” ministry hosted by the local church – preparing and packing food, praying with the people, sharing the testimonies and communicating the love of Christ.
We will have numerous opportunities to explore the beautiful historic sites in and around Cork.
Please consider this opportunity with prayer and let us know ASAP if the Lord is stirring your heart – we have limited spots available on this team.
