In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:11-14

Have you ever asked yourself what is your true calling in Christ? Some people respond to this question naming their spiritual gifts or other God-given talents, others say it takes a life-long journey to discover. Apostle Paul beautifully sums it up in the passage of Ephesians 1:11-14. We are called to the praise of His glory! What does this actually mean? It means that reflecting God’s glory to this dark world is your personal mission. His glory encompasses many things – excellence in the work that you do, encouragement and love that are contained in the words you speak. Sometimes, this means showing lavish generosity, granting an undeserved forgiveness, caring for a complete stranger or even an enemy. The Great Commission is the perfect set up to be the praise of His Glory. Every WMA partner that joins our team, supports financially the missions and prays faithfully for the success of the ministry is actively bringing praise to His glory.

We want to thank you for your faithful partnership. The real news is not found in the media. They are the glimpses of God’s Kingdom at work in the present, dark troubled world – salvations among radical Muslims, miraculous healing, timely provision to the poor and the struggling and how these moments capture and transform people’s lives. These are the news we are excited to share with you, to the praise of His Glory!

Unforgiveness is not just a personal problem. It can be a national issue, as it is with many Balkan countries that fought against each other at the breakup of former Yugoslavia. Kosovo was one of the central countries in this conflict. On the firs groundbreaking WMA mission to Kosovo, we partnered with the very first evangelical church that opened up in this Muslim country. Their vision for evangelism is knock on every door in Kosovo with the Gospel message. Our team had the privilege of visiting the very last village on their list. As we talked to the Kosovo Muslims, it was evident that they are seeking for the truth. One of the team members, the native of Kosovo and a former Muslim, boldly shared her testimony in the streets. A group of Muslim women listened to her very attentively, and one of them gave her heart to Christ.

Gifting the local people with their very first Bible was an incredible experience. Watching their faces light up as the Holy Spirit showed them the value of the gift was priceless.

One of the church member Leonora, shared with us her story of witnessing her father being killed by the Serbian troops during the war. She shared how Jesus healed her heart from hating the Serbs and how she is making an effort to reach out to the Serbian minorities in Kosovo with the Gospel message. Among many other spiritual needs, we saw the importance of reconciliation ministry between the Serbs and the Albanians (the original ethnicity of Kosovo). The needs within the church are based on the fact that most Christians in Kosovo are first generation. They have not been exposed to Christian culture, and there is a great need for Christian marriage and parenting counseling.

We plan to return to Kosovo in the near future. The dates of this mission are to be announced soon. If your heart is stirred for Kosovo, please let us know ASAP, and we will keep you in the loop.

Albania is one of the poorest countries in Europe per capita. So imagine that in this situation there are minority groups that are more poor than an average Albanian. Whether they are Roma(gypsies), who are considered the outcasts in the community, or Egyptian minorities, who simply have not had the same privileges as other citizens, or the rural Albanians, who don’t have a source of income, these people struggle with the most basic needs like food, clothing, education, healthcare etc.

We simply can not share the Gospel message with them without caring for their immediate needs. You have an opportunity to be a blessing in the Muslim Albania, to show them how different Jesus and His people are from the Allah they believe in.

We need your help in this mission – please consider supporting this outreach financially and through prayers.

June 12-22 WMA will travel to Ireland, celebrating the 10th year of our missionary work in this nation.

Ireland is a nation on the verge of a Great Revival that will sweep through entire Western Europe. At the same time, it is the nation that is facing great challenges. Drugs and alcohol, the decline of the Catholic Church and the extremely liberal policies of the Irish Government contribute to the statistics showing more than 790,000 people living in poverty in Ireland, of which over 250,000 are children. One in 4 one-parent families are living in consistent poverty.

WMA will partner with the Cork Church in several evangelistic outreaches with the purpose of introducing the Irish people to the importance of having a personal relationship with Christ and showing them the love of Christ in action.

Big portion of the ministry will be street evangelism. Our teams will set up posts in the main square of Cork, the second largest city in Ireland. You will have an opportunity to share your testimony, engage in one-on-one conversations with the people, distribute Gospel tracts and invitations to the church, sing, play musical instruments etc. The Irish people are very friendly and open to a conversation and there is no language barrier since they speak English. This kind of ministry has always been very fruitful, especially in Cork, which attracts people from all over the world and gives you the opportunity to share Christ with the people from many nations.

The Cork church has implemented a cutting-edge outreach called “Feed Cork”. Each week they provide over 250 food boxes for the people of various walks of life—atheists, Muslims, homosexuals and straight people, or anyone who finds themselves in a financial crisis. Through this program they have been able to share the love of Christ and see people’s lives transformed. This program has been so effective that they were recognized in the national media and have been asked by the Irish Government to implement it in other churches across the nation.

You will be taking a part in this outreach by helping prepare food packets, distributing food and pray for those who come to receive.

“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” Isaiah 58:10

In addition to the ministry in Cork, we will travel to the quaint city of Kilkenny, known for a beautiful and well-preserved old castle and the colorful downtown area filled with cafes, shops and historic buildings.

In Kilkenny we will partner with a local church in evangelism through a free coffee shop the church hosts for the community and also street evangelism, similar to the one we do in Cork.

Please keep in mind this trip will require a lot of walking, so if you have limited mobility you may want to consider a different mission.

You will have numerous opportunities to explore the beautiful historic sights of Ireland – Cork, Kilkenny, Cobh, Kinsale and other areas.

The Emerald Isle is ready for revival and the Lord has an incredible open door there for you and us. In the last several years the Lord has directed World Missions Alliance to Western Europe. This “door” opened through Ireland. This nation holds a very significant and strategic part in the spiritual awakening of Europe in these last days before Christ’s return.
