THAILAND
January 15-25, 2027
In January 2027 we will return to Northern Thailand—the beautiful mountainous region known as the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. This area, once infamous for drug trafficking and poverty, is now seeing a new kind of transformation—the Gospel is taking root, and you can help it spread.
During this trip you will serve the Hill Tribes—ethnic minorities who’ve fled war and hardship, and who often lack legal rights, education, or access to medical care. From our base in Chiang Rai, you’ll travel into the mountains to bring healing and the hope of Jesus through evangelism, medical outreach, food and clothing distribution, children’s ministry, and more.
WMA is partnering with churches on the border of Myanmar. These churches conduct outreaches across the border and will be transporting groups of people from Myanmar to our evangelistic outreaches.
We still have spots open on this team and are looking for people with gifts in:
- Medical professions (Doctors, PAs, Nurses, etc.)
- Mentorship for the youth
- Children’s ministry
- Women’s, Men’s ministry
- Ministry to prisoners or people with addictions
- Intercession, preaching, teaching, evangelism, counseling
- Or simply a heart to love and serve the hurting.
Whether you’re a seasoned missionary or stepping out for the first time, this is your moment to make an eternal impact.
You will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful sights, learn about the local culture and sample the authentic cuisine on the sightseeing day.
With earthquakes and floods affecting various parts of Thailand in recent years, this is your chance to bring hope to the people of Thailand.
