In a time of deep division in American culture, people from all walks of life are calling for revolution and change. But what kind of revolution brings true freedom?
In this episode, our host Helen Todd talks with Os Guinness, a Christian author and social critic. Os references the story of Exodus as the blueprint for freedom in human history, and states that Biblical revolution is the true revolution, which establishes genuine freedom, justice, and a high place for human dignity.
Os Guinness is an author, social critic, and great-great-great grandson of Arthur Guinness, the Dublin brewer. His family was prominent in the Irish revival and involved in missionary work in China including partnership with the famous missionary to China, Hudson Taylor. Os has written or edited more than 30 books that offer valuable insight into the cultural, political, and social contexts in which we all live. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of London and his D.Phil. in the social sciences from Oriel College, Oxford.
