In her childhood, Amina adhered to every strict rule and regulation of her Muslim faith. After finding salvation through Christ in her adulthood, she boldly proclaimed the truth to her parents at their dining room table.

In this episode of the Limitless Spirit Podcast, our host Helen Todd interviews Amina – a Christian woman who was raised in a devout Muslim family in the Middle East. Throughout her life, Amina was certain that the impersonal god who she was taught about “didn’t match” the God who created the world around her. After moving to the United States, Amina sought after her own personal freedom, and finally found it in Christ. In this episode, you’ll hear about Amina’s strict Muslim upbringing, her family’s challenging transition to life in America, and a co-worker’s timely invitation to church in Amina’s time of need.

3:30 Amina describes her upbringing.

7:00 The expectations of women in strict Muslim culture.

8:40 Jesus through the lens of the Muslim religion.

11:50 The traumatic event Amina witnessed during her family’s pilgrimage journey.

14:45 “As soon as I came to America, one word came to my mind: freedom”.

18:40 How Amina came to Christ after a co-worker’s timely invitation to church.

30:35 Amina’s bold proclamation of faith to her parents.
