When Jesus was asked who is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven, he said that “unless you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven”. In another chapter, He says that “the greatest among you must be a servant to all”… and in Matthew 20: 16 Jesus says So the last will be first, and the first will be last. This is what our host, Helen Todd, calls the “upside down nature of the Kingdom of God “.
As we continue our series “That’s Kingdom”, Helen Todd speaks with Eric Scott, the campus pastor of The King’s University in Texas, who will be speaking at the Greater Purpose conference at the end of March 2022. He will be preaching from Matthew 18:3 at the conference.
In this episode, you’ll hear the discussion what it means to be like little children and why this is the only way to enter the Kingdom of heaven, what we can learn from today’s generation of children, and what we should strive to teach them.
